Fortnite game maker Epic hiring temporary workers full time

Epic Games recently announced that there are now more than 500 million game accounts.

San Francisco: Fortnite developer Epic Games is hiring full-time temporary employees in the US with employee benefits.
The Verge has reported that Epic is extending the offer to quality assurance (QA) testers, as well as other “eligible” contract-based employees.

In an internal memo, the game’s developer said it will “provide full-time employment at will to eligible workers in the United States” and that “many of those incentives will be effective April 4, 2022.”
The company currently contracts QA testers and other workers through temporary agents.

However, the company will hire backup workers for “short-term needs”.
Epic Games recently announced that there are now over 500 million game accounts.
The company has devoted a large amount of resources to growing its PC game store – and thus, attracting more account subscribers – since its launch in December 2018.

Epic has committed to giving away free games back in 2022, so it seems the company continues to think the cost is worth it.

Epic is also heavily using its Unreal Engine developer tools, and the company has announced that 48% of “announced next-gen games” are being built on the platform, according to the report. fox. Fortnite
